Quality and compliance
Documented, tested and traceable.
CorroTool products are designed to support operator compliance with federal pipeline safety regulations governing internal corrosion control.
Manufacturing quality control
How every lot is verified.
- Design validation. Prototype pressure testing at or above rated working pressure for each product model.
- Dimensional inspection. Critical features inspected against product specification for each production lot.
- Material verification. Materials requiring traceability are supported by supplier MTRs.
- Statistical sampling. Production units sampled to verify each lot meets or exceeds the prototype standard.
- Non-conformance control. Defined identification and resolution procedures.
- Records retention. Quality records kept and available for operator review on request.
Regulatory basis
This approach is consistent with 49 CFR 195.305(b) and 49 CFR Part 192 Subpart J, which permit a manufacturer quality control system and prototype test record as the basis for component qualification.
Individual per-unit hydrostatic testing is not required under these provisions, but it is available on request with a certificate for each unit.
Documentation
Records available on request.
Allow 3 to 5 business days for preparation and delivery. Tell us the model, the order or lot number if you have it, and the documents you need.
Material Test Reports (MTRs)
Heat and lot specific material certifications for the 304 stainless stock used in production.
Prototype pressure test records
Design validation test records for each product model at rated working pressure.
Dimensional inspection records
Inspection records for critical dimensions per product specification.
Product specification sheets
Full technical specifications for each model.
QC program summary

Per-unit hydrostatic test certificates
Issued for each unit when per-unit testing is ordered. Quoted separately.
